Back in 2003, Ann Kenworthy worked in collaboration with Cloud 9 Adventures and founded the Greening program for the maiden voyage of Jam Cruise. Through years of coordinating the Greening program for Jam Cruise, the concept of Positive Legacy was born: to integrate music and service to benefit people and the environment. Ann co-founded our 501(c)(3) in 2010 and served as the first President of the Board of Directors from 2010 to 2015. She also served as our first Executive Director from 2015 to 2018. She is once again serving on the board with a passion for guarding our mission and our values, and a love for co-creating meaningful opportunities for music fans and artists to get involved. Ann believes that in giving, we receive, and the energy one receives from music is a renewable energy source which can be recirculated back out into the world as a powerful force for good. Located in Northern California, Ann is the mother of two fabulous young adults and works full-time as a Registered Nurse. In her spare time, she is most likely gallivanting around the world, engaged in service work, and enjoying as much live music as she can get.
