Carrie has worked in the nonprofit field for over twenty years, serving in a variety of leadership roles.  Most recently, she served as the Associate Director of Asset Management & Acquisitions for New Jersey Community Capital, and was responsible for oversight of all the organization’s construction, sale and rental assets for the state of Florida. She also served as Director of the Nonprofit Resource Center for the Community Foundation of Broward offering capacity building support for Executive Directors and board leaders.  She has worked with over 100 boards in the South Florida community assisting with strategic planning, fundraising, marketing and a variety of governance needs. Prior to that, she had a successful, ten-year career in the music industry.

Combining her passion for service and love of music, she joined the PL team in 2012 as its first paid administrator. In 2018, she joined the board and returned in 2023, as Executive Director, bringing her diverse experience, passion for the cause and knowledge of the organization’s history and operations to enable the organization to flourish.
