Eddie Roberts is the band leader, guitarist and producer of UK funk group The New Mastersounds. He originally put the band together in 1999 to play The Cooker nightclub in Leeds, UK. Fast-forward 16 years and his recorded catalogue boasts 30 or more singles, 14 studio albums, 4 live albums, 1 remix album and various compilation albums.

 

In 2014, Eddie Roberts asked Positive Legacy to be a part of The Payback. The Payback started as a two night concert that benefitted the Tenderloin District in San Francisco through the non-profit Compass Family Services. Since hosting the benefit concerts in San Francisco, Eddie and Positive Legacy collaborated on another Payback which was in Denver, CO. The CO Payback benefitted 2,000 homeless school children in the Denver Public School System. Eddie and Positive Legacy continue to partner on The Payback and look forward to many more successful benefit concerts.
